Dave is originally from the South Bay of Southern California. He grew surfing in polluted LA ocean water and breathing the smoggy brown air. He longed for a better life, free from gang violence, 5 lane traffic jams, hazy brown skys, and cold polluted ocean water. He quit his 9 to 5 cubicle life w/ 2 week paid vacation, expense account, and company car. He moved to Maui, where he was blessed by the gods with perfect surf and the woman of his dreams....Nyla, was born & raised in Maui where Aloha spirit, clear blue skys ,rainbows, breaching whales, and sacred waterfalls are the norm. Together they formed a perfect union and Love to share local knowlege and Hawaiian hospitality with all the guests who stay at Mangolani Inn.
